Proyecto Reserva El Silencio
I have a nature conservation and art project in the high lands of Sesquilé, a sacred territory of our ancestors, where water flows pure at 3.050 meters over sea level.
Proyecto Río Arriba
Colombia is a country interwoven by rivers.
Rivers are threads that connect territories, stories and communities. Are an inspiration for a collaborative work I been doing with artist Esteban Borrero.  The Humboldt Institute has registered 48.473 sweet water ecosystems or amphibian territories in Colombia. These ecosystems are called water sponges. The way water moves creates fluent threads that connect communities and inspire this collaborative art works.
Mujeres del Río
Territories of Colombia are interwoven by rivers. In these territories rural women resist violence, support family and feel their emotions in an intimate daily relation with water ecosystems. Singing, fishing, cooking, dancing, doing laundry, taking care of children and animals and cultivating are activities that connect all Colombian rural women through water. Water flows as their daily life does. This visual project done with Esteban Borrero as a field visual and sonorous diary is a travel through rivers that exalts the beauty of daily women life.
